Mother Nature is the artist. I just collect the memories…

About Me

I am a Father, a Photographer, and a snake lover…in that order.

My daughter is everything to me.  With her by my side, I need nothing in this world.  Yet…all of the comforts and pleasures of existence mean nothing without her.  I love this little girl…

Sweet Innocence

I’ve always loved photography.  Since the mid 80s, when I took a B&W photography course in high school, I have been fascinated by the process and results.  With the advent of modern digital imaging, I no longer need a wet darkroom to process my own prints, and so my fascination has developed into a passion.  Some would call it an obsession…

I HATE that I have to say this…

Thanks a bunch for checking out the blog and taking the time to learn a little bit about me!!

Nice photos of a nice place. I am glad somebody is still getting laid and partying. I trust you don’t do any of that rough talk around the daughter. Later, Windyscotty

  4. Great photos! My name’s Matt and I am a Co-Founder of a digital publishing startup named DigiGlyph. We’re getting ready to produce a new series of smartphone apps, eBooks and print-on-demand books for nature lovers called Explore Your World. I’d love to talk to you about including some of your photos in the series, maybe even creating a couple apps, eBooks and print-on-demand books to highlight your favorites. If this sounds interesting please let me know and I can provide more information.

I’ve included a couple of links to our most recent iPhone & iPad apps from the Explore Your World series that we just published so you can see examples of our work.

    Best wishes,

  8. Sally

Hi there. I saw a picture on the web of your daughter saying, “Shhh…” or whatever she might have been say…it was whimsical. I am on the board of a group called Youth in Focus; it’s a small group who raise money to run photo classes for low income and at risk kids in Seattle. I would like to use the picture in a little in-house powerpoint on how other board members should fill out their silent auction forms correctly. It’s a small thing and most definitely not for commercial use. I’m a photog, too, so I didn’t want to grab your picture without your permission. Is this okay to use?

  9. Go ahead and use it, Sally. A copyright mark and credit to me would be appropriate, I think, otherwise, go ahead. Thanks!

I think this is the one you mean?
